Week 80 - Andersen, Missouri

Hey all! Boy, it's been chilly here this week. I know my buddy in Canada's gonna flame me for complaining about the cold, but I'm currently writing at 15 degrees below freezing in 88% humidity. At least it's not in the negatives. We're getting a big snowstorm tomorrow so Walmart basically got apocalypse raided by all the nice old people living in southwest Missouri. Seriously though, there are so many old people that go to our Walmart. It's weird. It makes shopping a blast though cause just about everyone's super nice and grandparent-y. Best Walmart πŸ†

Here's a few more Ozark superlatives:

Song of the week:
"Up With the Birds" by Coldplay
Listen if you dare...well, unless you're a missionary.

Question of the week:
What are some healthy ways you use to relieve stress? You'd think I'd have plenty at this point in my mission, but hey, new ideas never hurt. Most of mine from back home were listening to/practicing music, hanging out with friends, playing some Xbox, or just taking a nap, and I can't exactly do some of those right now πŸ˜…

Golf of the week?
A brother in our ward designs golf clubs for Callaway and Callaway owns Top Golf so he got us and the two other Elders in our district in for free! He's also a piano virtuoso, which is sick, and he's even from Oceanside, California, where we have family reunions every year. Shoutout Rigby beach crew πŸ˜ŽπŸ–οΈπŸ„β€β™‚οΈ

Quote of the week:

Doctrine and Covenants 128:22:

Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! Let your hearts rejoice, and be exceedingly glad. Let the earth break forth into singing. Let the dead speak forth anthems of eternal praise to the King Immanuel, who hath ordained, before the world was, that which would enable us to redeem them out of their prison; for the prisoners shall go free.

Love,
Elder Rigby
